Terms of Use

The rules that apply when you use FaceReport.

These terms are an agreement between you and FaceReport (“we”, “us”) and cover your use of this website and its face report tool (the “Service”). By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use the face report tool. The Service is not directed at children, and by using it you state that you meet this age requirement.

2. What the Service does

The Service produces an informational report from a single photo: face shape, facial proportions such as thirds, fifths and the golden ratio, notes on individual features, and a visual overlay of the detected facial landmarks.

Everything runs in your browser on your own device. The Service is free of charge, requires no account, and does not upload your photo to us.

3. Not medical or professional advice

The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Its scores and notes are geometric measurements, not medical, dermatological, psychological or professional advice, and not a judgement about anyone’s attractiveness, health or worth. Do not use the report to diagnose or treat any condition, and do not treat it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

4. Estimates and accuracy

Results depend on the photo you provide — lighting, angle, expression, camera quality — and on the limits of the model that detects facial landmarks. Detection is an automated estimate and can be wrong. Two photos of the same person may produce different scores. The report is not a measurement you should rely on for any decision that matters.

5. Your photo and your responsibilities

  • Only use a photo that you have the right to use: your own, or one where the person shown has given their consent.
  • Do not upload a photo of anyone under 16.
  • Do not upload another person’s photo in order to evaluate or rate them without their consent.
  • Your photo is processed inside your browser. We never receive it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to harass, bully, or judge another person without their consent;
  • use the Service to make claims about a person’s identity, ethnicity, health or character;
  • interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service;
  • scrape, copy or resell the Service, or present it as your own;
  • use the Service in breach of applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, and the FaceReport name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. The report generated from your photo is yours to use and share for personal, non-commercial purposes. You keep all rights to the photo you use.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. The Service is offered on an “as available” basis, and we do not guarantee that it will always be reachable or free of errors.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the results will meet your expectations or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost opportunities or emotional distress, arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is zero.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service at any time; there is no account to close. We may restrict or withdraw access if the Service is misused or if these terms are breached.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Service is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that mandatory law of your country of residence grants you.
