This policy explains what happens to your photo and your data when you use FaceReport (the “Service”), a free browser-based face report tool.

In short

• Your photo is analysed inside your browser. It is never uploaded to us, stored by us, or shared by us.
• There is no account, no sign-up, and no payment step.
• The Service does not use advertising or behavioural tracking.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not collect your photo or any copy of it, your name, your email address, your phone number, your payment details, your contacts, your location history, or your profiles on other services. There is no account to create and no form to fill in.

2. How your photo is processed

When you choose a photo, drop one in, or take one with your camera, the image is read directly into your browser’s memory and analysed there.

• Face landmarks are detected by a model that runs locally in your browser as WebAssembly. The calculation happens on your device.
• The photo is not sent to any server we operate. There is no endpoint on our side that can receive an image.
• The photo is not written to disk, to localStorage, or to IndexedDB. When you leave the page or start over, it is gone.
• If you use the camera option, the live video stays inside the page. It is not recorded, not transmitted, and it stops as soon as you close the camera dialog or leave the page. Camera access only begins after you press the camera button.

3. Data stored on your device

The Service writes nothing to your device: no cookies, no local storage entries, and no identifier that follows you between sites.

• Camera permission is granted and managed by your browser. You can revoke it at any time in your browser’s site settings.

4. Technical data handled by our providers

Delivering any website involves third parties, and those parties see the requests needed to serve the page:

• Hosting: the site is served as static files by a hosting provider, which may keep standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and reliability.
• Analysis engine files: the face landmark model and the WebAssembly runtime are downloaded from public content networks and from a public model repository. As with any file download, those providers receive the request, including your IP address and user agent. If those sources are not reachable, the same files are served from our own domain.
• Email: if you write to us, your message and your address are handled by our email provider so that we can read and answer it.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your photo to train any model.

5. Retention

We hold no copy of your photo and no copy of your report, so there is nothing on our side to retain or delete. Support emails are kept only for as long as needed to handle your request.

6. Your choices and rights

• Revoke camera permission in your browser’s site settings.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to its processing. Because we do not hold personal data about you, in most cases there is nothing for us to disclose or erase. We will still answer any request you send us.

7. Children

The Service is intended for people aged 16 or older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the Service and you would like our help, contact us and we will respond.

8. Changes to this policy

If the way the Service handles data changes, we will update this page and the date shown at the top.
